Secondary School Experience Days

To provide parents and students with valuable insights and firsthand experience about future study options, our school recently organized two informative school visits.

On 17^th May, 2024, 57 P.4 and P5 students accompanied by their parents and our teachers, visited St Joan of Arc . On 23^rd May, 2024, 49 P4 and P.5 students visited YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College. These visits aimed to help families make well-informed decisions regarding their educational paths.

Both visits were highly successful, providing families with critical information and helping them to envision their future educational paths. The positive feedback highlights the importance of such initiatives in aiding parents and students to make informed decisions about their academic futures.

中學體驗日

為讓學生盡早體驗中學的學習生活。本校於5月17日及5月23日安排小四及小五學生分別探訪了聖貞德中學和港青基信書院參與中學生活體驗日。是次活動家長報名的情況非常踴躍，家長及學生參與的人次接近180人。

本校的家長及學生在中學師生的帶領下參與閱讀、創科、運動、電子學習等活動，進一步了解中學課程特色，體驗中學的校園環境以至多元豐富的校園生活。

20^th Parent-child Sports Day

Our CMS 20^th Parent-child Sports Day which was successfully held on 9^th April 2024, our talented students athletes, representing different grades and houses, demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and determination throughout the event. From sprints to relays, long jumps to throwing, the students displayed remarkable efforts and unleashed their true potential. Beyond the physical achievements, the Sports Day provided an opportunity for our students to develop invaluable life skills, resilience in the face of challenges, and the joy of celebrating both personal and collective victories. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the teachers, staff, and parents’ volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the Sports Days. Your commitment and enthusiasm were instrumental in making this event a resounding success. Lastly, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding performances and commendable sportsmanship.

第二十屆親子運動會

天主教總堂區學校第二十屆親子運動會已於2024年4月9日順利舉行。各社健兒憑著決心和鬥志，踴躍參加比賽，展現出可敬的體育精神。從跑道至沙池、徑賽至田賽、個人至隊際，學生都能全力以赴在賽場上大放異彩。透過運動比賽，不僅能鍛鍊身體和訓練心志，更學會以正向樂觀的心態去面對比賽結果，學習到「勝不驕、敗不餒」之志。再次感謝各方通力合作，尤其家長義工的協助讓是次運動會得以順利舉行。最後，再次恭喜各得獎健兒，期望來年再創佳績。

Interschool Cultural Exchange Day

Interschool Cultural Exchange Day was successfully held on both April 12^th and 15th, with collaboration among teachers from TWGHs Sin Chu Wan Primary School, St Charle's School and Tung Chung Catholic School. The theme of the day was 'to meet, understand, and cherish each other'. Students from those three schools took a walking tour of the culturally rich Sheung Wan neighbourhood, using the Experiential Learning Approach to learn English vocabulary and document their experiences. Our P.4 and P.6 students demonstrated servant leadership by guiding their guest partners to complete some interesting missions. It was a unique and educational day, receiving sincere compliments from students, teachers, and parents.

跨校文化交流日

本校與東華三院冼次雲小學、聖嘉祿學校和東涌天主教學校於於4月12日至15日期間舉辦了跨校文化交流日。

當天的主題是「相遇、相知和相惜」。本校學生偕同友校的學生在充滿豐富歷史和文化氣氛的上環社區進行了一次導賞學習活動。當中通過體驗式學習方法，讓友校學生透過觀察和描述他們的體驗去學習英語。與此同時，我們的四和六年級學生通過友伴同行，與友校學生共同完成有趣的任務，亦實現了僕人領導的精神。
